Phoronix: Oracle Linux 6.5 vs. Oracle Linux 7.0 Beta Benchmarks

Released earlier this month was the first beta of Oracle Linux 7.0, Oracle's spin of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 development source-code. With some days having passed we've now had the time to take Oracle Linux 7.0 Beta 1 for a test drive and see how the performance compares to Oracle Linux 6.5...

    MySQL or MariaDB

Which version of database has Oracle Linux? Same as RHEL, MariaDB, or possibility of choice?

Wouldn't they use MySQL because it's their product? I wouldn't be surprised if it's MariaDB in the end. ZFS belongs to them and still it's nowhere outside of Oracle Solaris.

based that oracle linux is more or less rhel copy (at least it was so far), you won't see zfs unless rh implements it. but, mysql is probably a given since it is just package deviation and they actually did some decent work in 5.7 (most notably multiple triggers per same event, although they completely failed implementation wise)
