Hi. We're having a problem with what we believe/suspect is a PHP Proxy configuration issue. We've installed Phoronix on a system and cannot get it to think that it has "No Network Connectivity" even though we've set everything we can think of to leverage a proxy that it must use. But seems no matter how we configure Phoronix for the proxy, it won't connect (eg. when using the openbenchmarking-repositories command, etc.).
So far we've tried/done:
1) In user-config.xml, added entries in the <Networking> section for <ProxyAddress> and <ProxyPort>
2) Created and set the environment variable http_proxy
3) Added a proxy entry to yum.conf
4) Created a /root/.curlrc file and put a proxy line in it
We've verified that yum and wget both work fine and have no issues getting thru the specified proxy, so we know things are working generally. We can even successfully use wget to talk to OpenBenchmarking.org, but no go with Phoronix itself.
So, after poring over the forum and not finding anything else to try, wanted to see if anyone has any ideas/suggestions. Again, our best guess is that PHP itself is somehow failing to use any of the above proxy settings and hence Phoronix can't get out, etc. Appreciate any ideas...
Thx, Jerry.
