Wait a second, aren't they repeating the same mistake Microsoft did with Windows 8? Where is the Dash and where are window mode apps?

I bet it wont run on a protocol.
The question is, will Mir fully implement the Wayland protocol?

Or will Unity implement Wayland support?

is it hardware specific?
is it even in the repositories yet? if so it fails on my lenovo (intel graphics G945)
-->black screen, but able to VT switch and reboot or are there any settings to be done?
(not sure what the subtitle meant, either its running ootb in the current 14.04 stack or it CAN eventually look like this with a couple of workarounds. can anyone clarify that?)
