granted this is the same procedure for every kernel

but some additional rough edges (including data corruption) have been fixed this time (not so sure about for 3.14)

there seems to be some high memory usage and potential of locking up the system though (both ext4 with 3.13 vanilla kernel state and btrfs patched up)

jfs is fine

experienced this while compiling stuff on zram (/var/tmp/portage)

added some cherry-picked less locking patches and will try again if it helped

during test between 3.12 3.13 and 3.14 pre-released kernel was verified a regressin on BTRFS performace. Final 3.14 kernel is stil affected by this regression? Could you make new tests? What's best file system in USB flash? F2FS?
