Phoronix: NVIDIA GameWorks Should Be Out For Linux Before The Summer

GameWorks, NVIDIA's umbrella of technologies for enhancing PC gaming, should be available for Linux before the summer...

So far only Valve made a difference, The Indie bundles less important and anything else is just irrelevant drama on phoronix.
Rather pathetic are those Linux devs spending 99.9% of their time over-polishing their open-source game engines (almost) nobody uses to play.

Please, NVIDIA, offer 3D Vision on Linux! 3D Vision remains the only reason I still dual boot to Windows.

I can see 3D Vision being a smash hit for SteamOS in the living room.

Rather patetic are those stupid Phoronix commenters spending 99.9% of their time over-polishing their hate comments about games that respect your freedom and usually don't cost anything.

Now I am using an NVIDIA card, but this whole thing sounds like a vendor lock-in attempt. Well, PhysX has always been that (there's not a single reason why it can't be accelerated on other GPUs, except for NVIDIA explicitly checking for an NVIDIA GPU presence)...
