Haven't had much time to do a thing, but I do have a pic up for you to see.(above)
It's a lexar 300x udma card.
Here's what I got:
========================
[root@localhost ~]# hdparm -Tt /dev/hda
/dev/hda:
Timing cached reads: 698 MB in 2.00 seconds = 348.87 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 108 MB in 3.03 seconds = 35.59 MB/sec
[root@localhost ~]# hdparm -Tt /dev/hdc
/dev/hdc:
Timing cached reads: 686 MB in 2.00 seconds = 343.15 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 122 MB in 3.00 seconds = 40.66 MB/sec
[root@localhost ~]#=================
Few MB/s faster than the extreme IV card.
