Hello there, I am new here and am new to Linux as well. I am using 8.04 Ubuntu and have an X1950 PCI-E - Sapphire. I have successfully ran and used EnvyNG to get the Latest Catalyst Drivers up and running. I have the restricted drivers working as well.

I don't have any performance issues but my main concern is that my fan is sitting at a very low speed and have seen when I switch back to windows that the card is quite warm.(around 70deg) I am using ATI Tool in windows and keep my fan running at 100% and it idles at around 45deg C. This seemed like the best place to look to see if there is anyway at all I can set my card fan speed to run at 100% in Ubuntu to ensure that it does not overheat. Anyhelp would be appreciated.
    -Thanks.
