Hope this kind of things is allowed here and my apologies if it is not.
I have a project called zuluCrypt[1] that seeks to give a simple to use CLI and GUI front end to cryptsetup and tcplay to aid in easy management of encrypted block devices.
With it, a user can create and open TRUECRYPT,LUKS as well as PLAIN types encrypted volumes in an easy to use GUI frontend.
The tool also ships with zuluMount,a tool that can manage zuluCrypt encrypted volumes as well as unencrypted volumes making it a good enough substitute to udisks among other mounting tools.
The tool also ships with zuluSafe,a simple CLI tool that can be used to archive one or more file securely in an encrypted container.
