    So DPM is not yet standard for the HD R200 series like it is for the HD 7000 series since kernel 3.13? Bummer. When, approximately, is kernel 3.14 coming?

      About 3 months between releases and 3.13 just came out. It isn't like you can't turn it on with radeon.dpm=1, the devs just don't trust fresh to market GPUs to work all the time with just their pci-ids set.
