Searching for "SSL" or "SSL TLS" yielded nothing. So, does PTS provide SSL encryption benchmarks? Specifically, my use case is determining optimal throughput per Watt and per cost for an openvpn gateway box. I am also interested in httpd (Nginx, preferrably) HTTPS performance per cost and Watt.

There's OpenSSL plus a few other tests. Also NGINX and Apache but not with HTTPS by default.

PTS can generate performance-per-Watt data for any given test profile by either having a useful battery (one that exposes power information via sysfs) or a USB WattsUp power meter and then set the environment variables PERFORMANCE_PER_WATT=1 MONITOR=sys.power prior to running tests.
