    It seems to affect every one of their games. L4D2, Portal, CS 1.6, CSCZ, CSS, all of them have worse input lag in Linux compared to Windows. I'm using a GTX 780.

    People say it's the Nvidia drivers. We have reports here from multiple Nvidia users about input lag, and also opposite reports from open radeon users (silky smooth). So not general Linux.

    I can testify that the open source Radeon is silky smooth. All sorts of stuttering on my end if I use catalyst despite the slightly better FPS. So I've been using the open source out of choice and performance.

    Catalyst = Ported to Linux
    Radeon = Made for Linux
