Hi
I just want to inform you that one of the most popular open source movie players is now a commercial program. In my view, Movist is a very cheap application and even it is developing by the same person. However, it's quiet sad that a the author had to make this decision because sometimes open source model of developing software isn't beneficial for creators:

In 2011, Movist is entirely rewritten and published to Mac App Store. Movist is now commercial and it's not open source any more.
Old version will be maintained as open source and can be updated if we have enough time. :-)
