Another big interest of EGL_WL_create_wayland_buffer_from_image is that it allows to bypass compositing for nested compositors too.
Kwin would benefit from it.

Another Wayland egl change coming soon is the support of setting the swap interval for eglSwapBuffers (ie choosing if we cap to 60 fps or not).
