    This is a really interesting project.
    I hope this becomes the default implementation of Python eventually.

      I don't think that is ever going to happen. Further, if my understanding is correct the pypy maintainers don't want it to be. It provides some major benefits for certain use-cases, but also has drawbacks for others.

        I wish they would have continued psyco in some shape of form. That was really easy to use and helped a lot for some scripts (and was easily just not loaded for others).
