You're right YSlow kinda hangs on getting information for:

What surprises me is that I am now using adblock! The list was for Italian users (from back when I was living in Italy), but even adding the French one, nothing changes (and that doesn't shock me, since the guilty looks like to be an American ad).

I eventually found out that the responsible for this weird behavior was the GoogleSharing plugin. But I have no clue why
