        When something better comes along. Holding onto old crap for the sake of it being old and nothing else when there's new stuff that's better is silly particularly when we're talking software, it's not like HAL or Upower are some sort of family heirloom passed down through the generations that you're now in possession of. There shouldn't be any sentimental value to software. At least infrastructural software like this.... Games one can argue as games are an art form...
