      Samsung is cheating

      Interesting to see Samsung involved in CPU boosting since they're using it to cheat in benchmarks.

      When it detects that a benchmark is running it overclocks the CPU.

        They answer this question close to the beginning.
        Short answer: yes, they are attempting to create a common interface for "all" cpu turbo/boost schemes.

          Well, in stable version of Kernel there is no 'Boost' freq manager...

            I was under the impression at least for SB and IVB and Haskell, the Intel pstate driver in kernels 3.9+ handle the turbo frequencies.
