I'm trying to test btrfs compression on my server. I have a btrfs partition mounted on /mnt, but the root filesystem is ext4.
My question is now, if I cd to /mnt and run phoronix-test-suite run <mytest>, will PTS run the test on my btrfs partition or outside?
Because the test results are looking very similar.
.phoronix-test-suite/ folder is under /root and my server is a Debian Wheezy 7.1 with kernel 3.10.6.
    Thanks in advance.

    Best Regards
    David

You need to edit the Environment Directory path within ~/.phoronix-test-suite/user-config.xml to point to the location you wish to test.
