      What. That's just stupid. There is no benefit for using XMir for Xubuntu, and all the downsides. For a lightweight desktop distribution it makes no sense at all.

          in this case TEARING is fucking everywhere. xMir may help solve those problems (i am not sure if it is possible technicaly. i just guess)

                    Unlike the maintainers of some other derivatives (*cough* Kubuntu! *cough*) they realize that anything but Mir has absolutely zero future on an Ubuntu base.
