Note that mesa isn't hosted at github, but freedesktop.org (so what you saw was most likely a mirror).

Well there is just enabling the ES extension which is just a small update I would think. I just havent had time to look at how to do it yet. And the documentation is going to be a bit of an ongoing thing I guess. I would really like to get feedback on whether what I have done so far is at all useful or understandable but so far no one has made any comments on it. I have written a blog post on my website about the outcomes of the campaign and the outcomes of the survey I ran polling interest in further campaigns you might like to point to that: http://www.itsqueeze.com/2013/09/fun...crowd-funding/

Is great to see my campaign has encouraged other FOSS devs to give it a try: http://girinstud.io/news/2013/09/cro...nting-in-gimp/

For those interested I've been brain storming and have come up with a couple of alternative ways to help support my independent Mesa/piglit work without requiring you to spend any extra money. See my blog post for more information if you are interested: http://www.itsqueeze.com/2013/12/ind...funding-model/

Please excuse my double post but there are multiple threads on this topic scattered throughout Phoronix so I thought I'd at least post in the main two.
