        Agree. Having it appear to have no screen edge is admirable.

        I liked the style of the phone shown in this article but the picture you showed has a more up market look.

          Nobody tells you to do nothing. And nothing in the article says it uses Mir.

                That's high end. (minus price..)

                High end is crowded and dominated by Google/Android with second strong Apple/iOS. There is NO room for 3rd one. (Thoug Samsung could pool it off with Tizen by SWAPING Android sales for Tizen sales).

                So you have too big expectations.

                Mid range, and low end is where 3rd option can really grow.

                  well those leaks are render images not a real thing and ubuntu for nexus7 says is not even ready for developers, so i suspect this is an early preview announcement with some renders and what ubuntu phone will do to present to carriers more than users.

                  option B, they have another closed version working with surfaceflinger and will go to market with it for now.

                  anyway for now i want jolla for my phone and android 5 for my nexus

                    Most of the functionality I mention is already available with china brand phones for approx $250, but they haven't hit the 4G coms mode yet. The 4G is only a chip series away!

                    Do a search on http://Aliexpress.com

                      Then wait for new 4g/LTE chipset from MediaTek, the MT6290;

                      You'd probably want more than 1gb of ram, but by the end of the year 2gb will be the default in most Chinese brand phones.
