Hello ladies and gents,
I try since few days to configure a dual screen for my distro.
At least, it doesn't works
, my second screen is always black.
I have a Radeon HD 7870 (Sapphire) and i've installed the opensource drivers xf86-video-ati.
I use awesome 3 as window manager.
My first screen is plug on HDMI on HDMI-0 (it's a ViewSonic 24" in 1920x1080_60)
My second screen is plug on DVI on DVI-1 (it's a Samsung SyncMaster 24" in 1920x1080_60)
Both of them works fine in standalone.
And both of them works fine together during the boot and the system choice (syslinux).
After the choice, black out for my second screen.
I've done lot of tries. Without any success.
I tried to use xrandr :
The second screen is always black et xrandr returns :
