    Hmm, I find a few things a bit odd.

    -he's not using compiz and instead gnome-shell/mutter:


    Isnt that kinda like a gnome dev using kde ?

    -He's working on wayland support

    So ... Will we see a Mir port one day?


    Anyway is Xwayland still better at the moment for running this app?

        Keep in mind, he's the ONLY person who is qualified to call compiz "shit" and has if I'm not mistaken. So no, I dont think its like a gnome dev using KDE.

        Mir support is "on the radar" but like the REST of the community, Wayland takes precedence.

          na, in the past 4 years i saw it only one time, for about 2 months broken. since more than a year it works perfect and reliable again.

            i was and am payed for coding for windows. i know many things about it and how it evolved and how it works.... i would never use it privately (that time is over since many years).
