Mir comes in 13.10 regardless of what you want and how hard you want Canonical to die. It doesn't come at the end of 2014 but at the end of 2013. At the end of 2014 it will be almost perfect and will finally replace everything X.org, so X will finally die like the old man that it is. Bam! Bam!

Putting beta software as an option for testing into a distro without making it the default is hardly bringing it to the market. Mir will come by default in 14.10, before it comes as default you can't speak of bringing it to the market.
Also, the question was not if the Jolla phone will be a success or not, the question was when we can see a phone running with Mir as a display server. As usual you avoid the important questions while spouting non-sense.

So again, when will we see a phone with Mir in the market? You seem to have data on that, please share it. Also, when again will we see Mir deployed to the mass market, not some beta (alpha?) testers?

I'm gonna have such a laugh when Ubuntu will run on both smartphones and the desktop while using Mir. While wayland will continue to be in its tar pit, of course permanently in the design phase as they have to get it perfect when they release it.
