With the various 3.10-rcs as well as the newly relased 3.10 proper, no matter which of the closed source drivers I try (beta, "stable"), the machine will boot, try to start X, fail in that respect and send the fans into overdrive, followed by a poweroff (likely due to overheating).
Nouveau works.
Has anyone seen this behaviour, or come across descriptions of it - and does anyone know how to fix it?
System is a Core i7 Lenovo on which the only problem I've seen is this. GFX-card is GeForce 650M.
