KDE 4.11 Will Be The Last Major KDE4 Workspaces Feature Release

That's the kind of thing that makes sense only to people who know why the numbers changed. It's gonna suck when Plasma Workspaces reaches version 4.

Why? At that point we'll have KDE Frameworks 7 or so. It won't be an issue, just like there is no issue with the fact that Amarok is currently at version 2.7, and not 4.11. It's simply uncoupled from KF/KDE SC.

That is assuming they'll be around then.
We don't know if today's technology may even be fit for the devices we'll use then. Plasma may not be fit and could be thrown out of the window to make room for some holo projection technology?
