linking pc to plasma tv

im going to use a HDMI to DVI cable about 3-5m but im wondering wether to splase out get gold plated connectors or just get standard ones

If you plan on just keeping the cable plugged in all the time, normal cable will be fine.

If the price difference isn't large, get the plated connectors.

Naturally, you will need a videocard that supports TV-out.
PC's with an onboard videocard or laptops, can have TV-Out connectors.
