        Technically that was already Wayland, just on the framebuffer instead of KMS
        Hawaii used to run on Green Island which is a Wayland compositor made with QML that uses the QtCompositor API and now there's also support for Weston
        QtCompositor is considered experimental for the upcoming Qt 5.1, while I really prefer QML over C code Weston has many more features.

        Going to see how XWayland work today

          Ah. It's hard to find real news on the 1st

          Glad to hear a wayland is getting a nice supporting desktop. Weston looks pretty good on my desktop.. if you could launch X apps on it I may actually consider running it
