I want a NVIDIA card

I'm tired of ATI drivers now, I want a NVIDIA card.

I currently have an ATI Radeon 9600 card, it's on a not-so-good PC, that won't really bother upgrading. I just want to side-grade. I want a graphics card that is comparable to ATI Radeon 9600, just one from NVIDIA.

Can anyone help me?

A 6600GT would do nicely. You could also try to get an old 7xxx series, perhaps a 7300, or maybe even a cheap 7600.

My 6600GT worked flawlessly in Linux and (still) had around 2/5 of the performance of my current HD2600XT AGP in Windows XP directX games.
I concur with Melcar that it's a good choice.
Even the 7950 AGP (probably the fastest AGP card that Nvidia will ever make) is not so very expensive anymore I think.
Fortunately the 6600GT AGP is now in my girlfriend's PC which is Windows XP only so I have the option of swapping back and giving her the 2600XT if I get fed up waiting for a working driver for my card in Linux.
