Laptops with fully or almost-fully working power management support

Hi,

Can anyone recommend me a recent, good mid-level laptop on which power management fully works? I want something along the lines of 4 hours or so - I've heard of Samsung laptops that last for 4 hours under Windows, but only 2 under Linux, for example, and really don't want to be unpleasantly surprised after I get one to find mine is like that.

Really? Nobody has a laptop that gets at least 4 hours out of it's battery? Please.... it would really help me if I could get some advice on the issue.
