Hello to all.
I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 with ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 running fedora fc6 and f8 and an S-video to RCA cable for tv output.
I am using xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.3.0.0-9.fc7.i386 as proposed by several people in the fedora forums because of the known issues with the latest one for fedora 8.
Also i am using the ati-driver-installer-8-01-x86.x86_64 proprietory driver which i installed as below:
sh ati-driver-installer-8-01-x86.x86_64.run
cd /lib/modules/
cp -r fglrx /2.6.23.12.RVF16.fc8/extra
My xorg.conf file is :

I built it from scratch in command line as below:
aticonfig --initial -f --nobackup
aticonfig --initial=dual-head --screen-layout=right --nobackup
aticonfig --swap-screens=off --nobackup
(i did this 2 times first time on and second off as the screens initially appeared in ATI-Catalyst reversed)
aticonfig --resolution=0,1680x1050 --nobackup
aticonfig --tv-overscan=off --nobackup
aticonfig --tv-format-type=PAL-B --nobackup
aticonfig --tv-standard-type=VIDEO --nobackup
aticonfig --resolution=1,1024x768 --nobackup
aticonfig --hsync=1,15-30 --nobackup
aticonfig --vrefresh=1,50-60 --nobackup
aticonfig --tv-geometry=86x59+90-1 --nobackup
As seen above i have initially created a single head configuration and then a dual head one as advised by several people in the forums (starting with dual head without single head previously run wouldn't work).
In Section "ServerLayout" the Identifier line remained "single head configuration" but i don't think this is a problem.
I have manually set with gnome editor in the second monitor section the tv vendor and model just for fun.
