  • X-Fi Driver On oss v4.1013, (Playback works)

    # OSS v4.0 build 1013 for Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD and UnixWare announced.
    * Beta support for Creative Labs XFi announced. Including source code for the SB XFi has been released.
    * MAudio Delta and Revolution serires pro audio drivers have now been open sourced.

    I'm using it right know, it works

    Maybe Alsa team can use that source code.

    Try it here http://www.opensound.com/download.cgi

    I've tested it, it works ok.
    But I got some issues

    1st Midiman driver isn't work.
    (Maybe this got something to do:

    Updated Jun 13 2007 for OSS v4.0
    Note! MIDI support is not available in OSS v4.0. Some USB MIDI (only) devices may be listed below but in reality they are not supported yet.
    )

    2nd, My usb mouse dies after loading the sound (randomly)((soundon))

    I've got an X-Fi. How would I go about changing ALSA to OSS? Should I just use PulseAudio (I heard it works with both of them)?
