          Downloading a few of the previous Humble Indie Bundle games to my laptop... I'll get TF2 installed on the desktop (where I've got more free disk space) later.

            It'll be awesome when the rest of the Orange Box comes around (aside from Team Fortress 2), but what I'm really excited for is seeing more new titles coming out with Linux support near release, if not on day one.

            I think that is what will impress people the most.

                I still can't log in - it shows "This version of Steam is currently in closed beta."
                Do I need a new version of Steam client?

                    Well you have to update the client, you can force it using the Steam menu and check for updates - next time the nag screen should be gone.
