requirements for Blogbench (or other tests) ?

I get a failure like this:

No hint about what's gone wrong. Is there a way to ask for verbose messages? Also, where can I find out what the requirements are for a test ? This is running on a small-memory, small disk vm. It might just be trying to allocate more disk than there is - but there's no way for me to tell.
