    This is the most exciting part about the project sputnik. If the drivers are contributed to mainline, it will make purchasing my decisions much easier.

      Yes, the best coming from Dell's Sputnik project is open source drivers, since the computer itself sucks.

      4 GB RAM, who hells a computer with this little RAM in 2012?
      How you're going to virtualize anything with that?
      That's not much if you run a heavy IDE and big compile stuff.

      1366x768, what is this, a smartphone? Shit resolution.

        The actual 'developer edition' of the XPS 13 comes with 8GB of RAM.
