  • How to read the IO Test Results

    Hello Phoronix community,

I have run some I/O tests and i do not understand the Results.
maybe some one can explain them to me...

    Here are some examples

What does this "SE +/- 8.32" mean? does it mean 8.32 MBs random write per second?
And then i have MBs more is better... 2857.64. what does this number mean?

    And here 8GB Read Performance...
"SE +/- 38.75" Does it mean average 38.75 MBs read per second?
And again this MBs more is better... 7201.97... what does this number represent? a score?

    Thank You.
