well Ive been trying to recompile the real time kernel to get the ati drivers to work but no luck. I grabbed the ubuntu patched linux kernel from the ubuntu repositories(2.6.22) and patched it with the real time patch patch-2.6.22.1-rt9 (from kernel.org) but whenever im compiling it I get a

      arch/i386/kernel/built-in.o: In function `hpet_enable':
      /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/kernel/hpet.c:397: undefined reference to `hpet_enable_int'
      make[1]: *** [.tmp_vmlinux1] Error 1
      make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux'
      make: *** [debian/stamp-build-kernel] Error 2
I followed the instructions here http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php...78&postcount=5

      help ?
