It would be horrible for me if nvidia 304.51 were recalled from Ubuntu. Earlier 302 and 304 driver versions don't suspend/resume properly on my laptop (GeForce 8400M GS) and nouveau doesn't yet automatically switch power levels (though, I can do it manually).

Question: Does backporting the ubuntu 12.10 graphics stack mean also backporting the "fixes" to graphic issues found in 12.10 or only xserver and driver versions?

          Weston

The system crashes when trying to run Weston with Nouveau.
