  • Can't Build mesa git

I use libdrm from git, too, and that builds/installs fine. This error is preventing me from building mesa git on my Debian sid amd64 system with RadeonHD 4550. I've tried doing a git clean, and even cloning a fresh copy, but it still gives the same error. It's been happening for weeks, and I'm finally breaking down and asking for help:

make[3]: *** No rule to make target `../../../../src/gallium/auxiliary/libgallium.a', needed by `r600_dri.so'. Stop.

Here is the configure process (I made a few minor edits to avoid legal controversy ;P ):
    Code:
    # ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr/local --with-gallium-drivers=r600,swrast --disable-egl --enable-vdpau --with-dri-drivers=radeon

Wrong place, go to #dri-devel on freenode.

Well, on Archlinux I built it today with this, so you can try with a config that is known to work...

      Code:
         ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr \
         --with-dri-driverdir=/usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri \
         --with-gallium-drivers=r600 \
         --with-dri-drivers= \
         --with-egl-platforms=x11,drm \
         --enable-texture-float \
         --enable-gles1 \
         --enable-gles2 \
         --enable-egl \
         --enable-xa \
         --enable-vdpau \
         --enable-gallium-g3dvl \
         --enable-glx-tls \
         --enable-glu \
         --enable-gbm \
         --enable-gallium-gbm \
         --enable-shared-glapi \
         --enable-gallium-llvm \
         --enable-openvg \
         --enable-gallium-egl \
         --enable-osmesa \
         --enable-r600-llvm-compiler
But the xorg state tracker didn't compile with the latest x.org git.
