  • Two GeForce 8600 GT SLI with 512 MB ram and Linux (Toshiba Satellite x200-21g)

    Solved by upgrading drivers.

    --

This laptop (x200-21g) can't use the SLI
the x200 series has another name (in USA i think) x205
and i don't know if some model of the x205 series correspond to the 21g..
anyway here an extract from the /var/log/Xorg.0.log

and the attachment are: the nvidia-bug-report-log and the log X log with
    logverbose 6
(as you see there's another little problem with the driver not relaxing
the Vertical Frequencies of the Monitor and those dropping some
resolution. I'm think i can work around this by following this:
    http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=104049 but it's a bug
    anyway, right?

    thanks for the support!
i'm avaible for further info if you need them

i've reported this to the official nvidia forum and i've opened a ticked mailing the support with the same request...
