    I know it may not be possible (due to the TOS), but I'd love to see a head-to-head performance analysis of VirtualBox vs VMWare Player

      i'm sorry but on my mac virtualbox is consistently the least performant. windows 2012 does not even work on it, whereas it works perfectly with vmware fusion.
      i guess itsfreeyoucantcomplain (tm)

        It has been done a few months ago, also including Xen and KVM. Virtualbox came in last.



        As usual, I want virtualbox with GPU passthrough! Is oracle even attempting it? PCI passthrough works pretty good.
