VMware Has VMCI Ready For The Linux Kernel
Phoronix: VMware Has VMCI Ready For The Linux Kernel
VMware is preparing to push VMCI support into the mainline Linux kernel...
I know they already main lined their 3D linux support, and it's really nice to just run a VM and 3D and resizing works out of the box.
I think VMCI allows for the drag and drop support. So another good step.
Next I hope they get all the kernel modules including for the host, so that we don't have to wait for vmware to update them when the kernel changes. I mean, even Microsoft is on board with that.
