Hello,
After failing to find such a tool, I come here asking the Phoronix crowd if there is any tool that would enable me to monitor the Video Memory usage.
For your information (just in case it matters), my system uses an integrated Radeon HD 3200, to which 256MB from my 2GB of RAM are dedicated, with the closed-source fglrx driver.
