  • Interpreting Test Results

Is there a database of definitions of test results anywhere? Right now I've run Byte, TIObench, Pybench and OpenSSL but short of comparing these results with other people's, what can we do with the figures?

Byte gives results as xxxx.xx LPS, but what does LPS stand for and what kind of daily deviations can I expect in this figure? I have the same concerns for the other tests I have run also.

http://openbenchmarking.org/ has some of these details, plus more verbose information is coming there in the near future.
