    With all of the fireworks that came from Linus' comments about Nvidia, other things that he stated have been lost when they probably shouldn't have been.

    At about 19 minutes, he starts talking about IBM, and how there was a drive to sell Linux. And he goes on to point out how easy to use interfaces just weren't a high priority until the commercial interests came in and did a lot of the boring stuff. They did Q and A. And other things he eludes to but doesn't specifically list.

    I point this out because I myself have run into a lot of the total anti-commercial venom from various people over the years, and that doesn't have to be the case. I long gave up arguing the case myself, but this is a point that needs to be heard.

    He further touches upon this just after the 30 minute mark, talking about the GPL licence and his "deep disagreements with most of the stuff that comes out of Richard Stallman's mouth".
