Suggestion for a configuration of an always connected home server

Hi,
I'd like suggestions for a complete configuration (cpu, mobo, case, ram, hd, vent, power supply) of a reliable, always connected home server (used as htpc, linux/win virtual machine host), with the following minimal specs :
* well supported under linux
* quiet and energy efficient
* hdmi out (I'd like to connect this linux machine to my hdtv)
* blu-ray capable, wake on lan
* wifi, bluetooth, integrated in the mobo or not
* good expandability
