It appears that there's a GPL3 rewrite of the Morrowind engine. I think it's neat that the old game may end up being improved upon. Given newer features (lighting, shadows, and tessellation), and a huge amount of community created art assets, it may prove to be a useful foundation for future DIY dungeon crawlers.
It's also nice to see new projects that leverage Ogre.
