Yeah, it was looking rough for a while, but is now up to $275K with a bit under 2 weeks to go... any Linux game fans who like adventure games and sci-fi satire need to jump on board ( http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/spaceventure/two-guys-spaceventure-by-the-creators-of-space-que/comments )

SpaceVenture just made $300K!! Tiers have been enhanced again, and there should be a new playable concept art (prototype 3) in a couple of days... exciting times for Linux adventure gaming.

Well it doesn't really matter. It is not likely to succeed unless something drastic happens (and so far, none of the updates has made much of a dent in the progress)

Looks like its gonna be short 100k, which is quite significant.

SpaceVenture has really picked up steam over the last week or so. They've been doing a bit over 15k per day on average, and did double that yesterday due to a spike from doing a Reddit AMA. With 4 days left and just over 100k to go it's going to be close but it's certainly feasible. Kickstarter projects almost always get a big push during the final 2 days. If the current trend of 15k per day continues they will be about 70k short with 2 days to go. 70k in the final 2 days is definitely feasible, though I'll feel better if they're a lot closer than that, or better yet fully funded by then.

Y'know even though the Kickstarter model means the project is either fully funded or not funded at all, when it gets so close to the threshold surely you could find someone to give you a ~$50000 loan and repay something like $51k 24 hours later...

Anyway, I threw a few dollars their way

Default Just 3 days left to support the Two Guys SpaceVenture!

Hi there, I just wanted to give everyone an update on the SpaceVenture Kickstarter by the Creators of Space Quest:

We are currently hovering at 420k and need 80k to seal the deal but there is only 71 hours left so if ever any of you guys and gals were on the fence about Joining the cause for Andromeda, now would be the time!

Tons of awesome stuff even in the 30 dollar tier but the real meat is about 125 *Buckazoids come to mind* Of course, ANY amount at all that you pledge will mean the world to us. We love our $15 backers to pieces , after all!

Go here http://tgakick.com and peruse the rewards and I think you'll like what you see!

Be a part of bringing this classic game developing duo from the Gold age of SIERRA back to the forefront to join their pals!

Thanks a lot and hopefully we'll see you on the comments page!

This was posted on the Kickstarter page by Warbird Games: ''This is my tribute to Space Quest. Please share it with people who've forgotten all the great times they had in the twisted universe of Scott and Mark: youtu.be/j4qMKZzLebM?a''

Default Crucial new development in the last hours of the SpaceVenture Kickstarter!

A very big new development in the SpaceVenture Kickstarter Community, Folks!

WIN SOME CLASSICS! PLEDGE AT LEAST $30 TO HAVE A CHANCE!

A fan, Rudy Marchant is offering up something for everyone to take part in.

with more than 90% of the goal reached, pledger Rudy Marchant gives the fans even more reason to contribute to the cause! He will give away three ultra-rare highly-collectible Sierra games to three randomly picked fans who pledged $30 or more!

Click here to read on: http://guysfromandromeda.com/win-cla...dge-30-chance/

Just think! If we can get this bastard funded before the end of the campaign, we should see some nifty Stretch goals being established!
