Hi! Well I'm new at Phoronix Forums... I'm having a little problem since Ati Catalyst 7.11 was released, so I had to return to fglrx 8.42.3.
Hardware:
OS = Gentoo Linux for AMD64
GPU = ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO (Gigabyte)
Driver = Catalyst 7.11 / Catalyst 7.12
Problem(s):
Well, I have two problems...
1st, if I plug my display (LG 710E) into vga output I have low performance and any app which uses opengl (3d accel) freeze the pc and I can't use the TV output (I read the user's manualand it says that only DVI+TV is supported)...
2nd, if I plug the display into dvi output X doesn't start, it freeze my PC (all the PC, not only X) and at the end of /var/log/Xorg.0.log I can see this:
(EE) fglrx(0): PreInitDAL failed
