Hi
Using pts 3.8 I got some strange iozone results when testing the read performace.
Choosing the 4Kb record size option iozone reported that the average read performance was 1000 MB/s.
When the record size was bigger then the average result was 30 MB/s.
/System info: 80 GB Seagate ST98823A, Linux 3.2.11, encrypted ext3/
My question is why did iozone show obviously bad results when choosing the smallest record size?
